NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

 Hi everyone,

The year 2021 has already started and I'm pretty sure we all want it to be quite different to year 2020.

Have you already made plans, set goals for this new year? These are called NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS.

A New Year’s resolution is a promise you make to yourself to do something good (or to stop doing something bad) in the New Year

According to The British Council, these were some of the most popular resolutions people made some years ago:

  • to eat more healthily or do more exercise
  • to stop a bad habit, such as to quit smoking or to stop swearing
  • to spend more time with your family
  • to be happier!
  • to travel or take a trip somewhere
  • to learn a foreign language
  • to learn how to cook
  • to save money
  • to read more books
  • to make more friends or be friendlier to other people
  • WHICH ONES WOULD YOU ADD FOR THIS SPECIAL YEAR??

DO YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO SPEAK ABOUT YOUR NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS AS A NATIVE SPEAKER?

Click on the link below ( though her resolutions were for the year 2018, I think it's worth watching it)

Keep on improving your Speaking skills!!)

Feel free to tell us your resolutions for the coming year.

Happy New Term!
